Alicia holds an Engineering Degree in Biology from the École de Biologie Industrielle (EBI) in France. During her studies, she developed functional in vitro assays for pharmacological safety and neurotoxicology.Alicia joined the lab in February 2024 as a Research Engineer. She is currently supporting different projects aimed at dissecting pathological mechanisms underlying Parkinson’s and mitochondrial diseases using 2D and 3D iPSC-derived models.
